The new but historic cellar bar at the Kings Arms came to existence by misadventure. Whilst reinforcing the ancient foundations of the building damaged during the blitz, we unearthed forgotten rooms with vaulted ceilings, long corridors and open spaces. With a little labour and a lot of love, we introduce for the first time The Undercroft.
The definition of an undercroft is traditionally a cellar or storage room, brick lined and vaulted and the perfect location for a quaint cocktail bar.
Step away from the bustle of the city and into a new realm, sipping on freshly shaken cocktails, fine wines and crisp cold beers in a cosy environment underground.
